Shopping - Kill Devil Hills

You could easily spend an entire day shopping within the town of Kill Devil Hills alone. There are lots of stores that you’ll love browsing through and (perfect for a rainy day) shops that offer fun activities for the kids, like paint your own pottery and beading.

Don’t miss out on the selection of artwork by local artists that you’ll find in Kill Devil Hills galleries and shops. Look for all your beach essentials here, like swimwear, hammocks and surfboards. Want to prepare a fresh seafood dinner at home tonight? Choose a locally owned seafood market to purchase these fruits of the sea and marinades, and then stop off at a specialty wine shop for a bottle to make the evening complete.

We’ve listed Kill Devil Hills Shops here, along with a little information about what you’ll find when you visit. Remember that locals call Croatan Highway—aka U.S. Highway 158—The Bypass, and they refer to Virginia Dare Trail—aka N.C. Highway 12—as the Beach Road. Those simple names are just easier to remember!
