We’re located at Pirate’s Cove Marina on North Carolina’s famed Outer Banks, less than three miles from the Nags Head beaches! Bring the kids, we offer something for everyone. Fish for a variety of species including black seabass, triggerfish, gray tilefish, blues, dolphin, king mackerel, amber jack, tuna, sailfish, wahoo, stripers and more. Daily trips, all bait & tackle furnished.

The Crystal Dawn is a 65 foot headboat powered by twin 6-T1 diesels. She has a capacity for 150 people, but for your comfort and more fishing room, we have limited our fishing trips to 50 people and our non-fishing cruises to 100 people. She has the most modern equipment including all new tackle, shiptoshore and CB radios, fathomers, and fish finder

Country Girl Charters

Our Carolina-style charter boat plays a special role in the Oregon Inlet fleet being the only one licensed and built to take more than six anglers per Gulf Stream Charter.  The 57-foot vessel was built by Capt. Allan with the help of his father-in-law, local legend Buddy Cannady of BC Boatworks.  Open from cabin to stern on both sides, the Country Girl is very spacious. She is also safe and fast with all the amenities to make trips comfortable and fun.

Outer Banks - Gulf Stream Fishing

Gulf Stream Charters take you about 40 miles out into the ocean to experience blue water angling, This is the trip for anglers wanting to sport fish for Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, and Billfish. The Country Girl is the only Charter boat in the area than can take more than 6 passengers to the Gulf Stream so someone doesn't get left behind or large families wont have to charter 2 boats, Most trips generally have 6-10 anglers, on board. The captain will inform anglers as to what species are available depending on the season and weather. Troll for blue marlin, sailfish, and white marlin as well as tuna, Wahoo, dolphin (mahi-mahi), king mackerel and more., Trips depart at 5:30am and return at 4:30pm. We fill up months in advance so booking ahead is important! Outer Banks - Bottom Fishing

Bottom fishing on the Country Girl generally offers a chance to catch more fish than inshore trips offer and gives anglers the chance to experience and offshore excursion at an affordable price, Unlike Gulf Stream trips where you are responsible for chartering the entire boat, this trip allows you to purchase individual tickets. A maximum of 27 anglers travel 5 to 50 miles offshore and drop lines over wrecks, rocky bottom, and artificial reef. In water running 60 to 300 feet we find edible fish such as black sea bass, triggerfish, gray tile fish, bluefish, dolphin, king mackerel, amberjack and sharks. Bottom fishing trips are scheduled Tuesday-Friday in-season departing at 7am and returning at 4:30pm. We book one to two trips a week in the spring and Fall. The trips fill up quickly so it is important to plan a week to two weeks ahead. Extra perks: seeing offshore beauty such as sea turtles, whales, dolphin, and pelagic birds. Everything is provided except your food and drink and a tip for the mate! Price: $110 per person + 18-20% tip for the mates.

Evening Cruise

Departs: 6:30pm - Returns: 8:00pm May, September and October: 6:00pm-7:30pm Includes commentary on the Outer Banks. Cruise the Roanoke Sound while viewing the sights of Elizabeth II, Jockeys Ridge, the Wright Memorial, the home of Andy Griffith, the Lost Colony, shorebirds and wildlife. $12.00 Adults - $8.00 Children (10 and under)
