Betsy and Brewster have a great little antique store filled with an eclectic collection of antiques, furniture, objects d’art and other cool stuff — like their stuffed peacock. Beach Braids is the only Outer Banks shop offering natural henna tattoos in addition to black henna tattoos. Natural henna is a reddish-brown color instead of black. Beach Braids has a Mendhi artist on staff, and they also offer “Hollywood” tattoos with a wide range of designs. This store also sells custom, handmade jewelry. Beach Braids is professional and organized with skilled staff and a comfortable waiting area. Appointments or walk-ins are accepted, and large groups can be accommodated easily.
